Terms of Service

1. About these Terms

KREATA is operated by CROXSTUDIOS LTD, a company registered in Rwanda ("KREATA", "we", "us"). These Terms are between you and CROXSTUDIOS LTD and govern your use of KREATA, including the website, the dashboard, the Studio, the API and the MCP server. By creating an account or using KREATA you agree to them. If you use KREATA for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf.

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy (/privacy-policy).

2. Accounts and workspaces

Keep your login details and API keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with your account, your workspaces and your keys. Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think one has been compromised.

3. Credits and payments

Generations and some other actions cost credits at the price shown before you run them. A run that fails is refunded automatically. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Credits have no cash value.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use KREATA, or let anyone or anything acting for you use it, to create, request or distribute:

• Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises minors.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, including "nudified" or sexual deepfakes of real people.
• Instructions for, or promotion of, weapons, explosives, or chemical and biological agents.
• Malware, ransomware, keyloggers, botnets, crypto-jacking or other code meant to harm systems, and help to attack or break into systems.
• Terrorist or violent-extremist content, recruitment or glorification.
• Content that encourages or instructs self-harm or suicide.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, counterfeit documents or money, or attempts to bypass payment, fees or licence checks.
• Impersonating real people or organisations to deceive, or content that infringes others’ rights.

4.1 How we enforce it

We screen generation requests with automated filters before they reach any model and refuse those that match prohibited uses (these filters are not perfect, and we may also review refused requests); refused requests are not charged. We keep a record of refused requests, including the account, workspace, API key and an excerpt of the request, and we may suspend keys or accounts that break these rules after review. Our model providers apply their own safety filters as well.

These rules also cover Google’s Acceptable Use Policy and Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, and the usage policies of the model providers we route your requests to.

5. AI agents, API keys and MCP

You can connect AI agents and other software to KREATA with API keys and our MCP server. Anything an agent does with your key is treated as done by you: it is bound by these Terms, it spends your credits, and the content policy applies to it exactly as to you.

You are solely responsible for the actions of any AI agent, script or integration you connect to KREATA, including through API keys or our MCP server. You agree to indemnify KREATA against any claims, losses or fines arising from your agents’ violations of these Terms, of Google’s Acceptable Use Policy or Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, or of the usage policies of the model providers we route your requests to.

Give each key only the scopes and daily credit cap it needs, and revoke keys you no longer use. We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke any key that is abused.

6. Your content and licences

You keep the rights you have in what you upload and create. You give us the permission we need to store, process and display it to run KREATA for you. You must have the rights to anything you upload, and the rights information you declare (your Rights Passport) must be accurate.

When you share an asset to the Community, you license it to everyone under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Removing it from the Community later does not withdraw that licence from copies already made.

7. YouTube and other services

KREATA uses YouTube API Services. By using our YouTube features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) applies. Other providers we use have their own terms.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify KREATA against claims, losses and costs arising from your content, your use of KREATA in breach of these Terms, or the actions of AI agents and integrations you connect (see section 5).

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using KREATA and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access, or remove content, if you break these Terms or put KREATA, its users or its providers at risk.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

KREATA is provided "as is". AI output can be wrong or unexpected; check it before you rely on or publish it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will show the date of the latest version on this page and tell you about material changes. Continuing to use KREATA after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute about them are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, and the courts of Rwanda have jurisdiction, without taking away any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
